Robert Lee Bugger, 66, Bland, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, at University Hospital in Columbia.
He was born June 23, 1959, to the late Leroy Zeno and Joyce Marie (Wright) Bugger in Highland, Ill.
He was united in marriage to Janice Heim June 18, 1983, in Highland, Ill.
Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of his chickens, distilling whiskey and rum, and was enjoyed by many close friends.
He was preceded in death by parents, Leroy and Joyce.
Robert is survived by wife, Janice of their home; stepmother, Faye Bugger of Highland, Ill.; sons, Devin and Damian Bugger, both of Bland; brothers, Leroy Bugger and wife Debbie of Lehigh Acres, Fla., Kenny Wise and wife Cari of Columbia, David Wise and wife BJ of St. Louis and Robert A. Sobiech and wife Jan of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Margie Shanks of St. Jacob, Ill., Debbie Sobiech Hoff and friend Darrel of Highland, Ill., Martha Faneher of Greenville, Ill., and Ruth Holzinges and husband Donnie of Highland, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
His body was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
