Ryan Kelly Peltonen of Sullivan, Missouri was born on Jan. 8, 1979 in Sullivan, Missouri to Claude and Trena (West) Peltonen and passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026 at the age of 47 years.
He grew up in the Spring Bluff and Sullivan area. He graduated from Sullivan High School in 1997.
He worked for Stillwater Trailers before beginning a career with Plumbers and Pipe-fitters, Union Local 562.
On Oct. 12, 2004, he married Stephanie King.
Ryan loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed spending summer days on the Meramec River. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He enjoyed hand crafting furniture and clocks.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Shannon; and niece, Flora.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; two daughters, Jordan and Katlyn; parents, Claude and Trena Peltonen of Sullivan, Missouri; three brothers, Travis Peltonen of Spring, Texas, Nick Peltonen and significant other Amanda Keller of Wildwood, Missouri and Vinny Peltonen and wife Hannah of Washington, Missouri; parents-in-law, Phil and Leslie King of Bourbon, Missouri; in-laws, Timothy “TC” King and wife Katie of St. Clair, Missouri and Angie King of Beaufort, South Carolina; nieces and nephews, Davis Peltonen, Abigael Peltonen, Joel Peltonen, Capri Peltonen, Steele Peltonen, Birdie Peltonen, Evergreen Peltonen, Ashton King, Jaylen Kennedy and Ariana O’Brien; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri.
Services were held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the Eaton Funeral Home of Sullivan, Missouri with Glen Carter officiating.
Cremation took place following the service.
Arrangements under the direction of the Eaton Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Sullivan, Missouri.
