Ryan Lee Williams of Columbia, Missouri was born on June 18, 1990 in Rolla, Missouri and passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the age of 35 years.
He served his country as an Infantryman in the United States Army from January 2, 2018 to June 4, 2026.
He was a graduate of Rolla High School, Class of 2008. Ryan loved football and during high school year wore the number 14 jersey.
He enjoyed the outdoors, float trips, fishing adventures and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues. He also enjoyed weekly bowling outings with his son, playing golf and listening to a wide range of music.
On February 6, 2020, Ryan married Ngwasi Elizabeth Bunyecha.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeremy Dean Williams; grandmother, Karen Williams; and uncles, James Williams and Arlen (Dee) Tappan.
He is survived by his wife, Ngwasi Elizabeth Bunyecha of Columbia, Missouri; son, Jeremy Dean Williams of Columbia, Missouri; mother, Denise A. Basham and Skip Sheleski of Cuba, Missouri; father, Mark A. Williams and wife Tammy of Rolla, Missouri; brothers, Morgan J. Wilson and Steven R. Wilson of Rolla, Missouri; grandparents, Becky (Don) Hudson, Bob Basham, and Richard Williams of Cuba, Missouri; additional family members, Jason and Jennifer Basham, Christina Basham-Steen, Kevin and Chris Williams, Kirk and Susan Buhr, Doug and Sandy Winn, Donnie and Linda Burke, Dave and Ann Coleman, Gerry and Earlene McGinnis; in-laws, Kija and Leticia Bunyecha; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Makinga Bunyecha, Sungulwa Hamilton, Yande Bunyecha, Mbuke Bunyecha, Stevland Hamilton; niece, Aaliyan Hamilton; other relatives and friends.
Private family visitation and funeral service was held, followed by cremation.
