Jessica Roy, a lifelong resident of St. James, is running for the St. James School Board with a focus on community, integrity, and student success. She holds a BS in Health Promotions and Wellness and Business Management, giving her a practical understanding of leadership, wellness, and organizational strategy. Roy works in real estate, helping families find homes and build lives in the community she loves.
Having grown up in St. James schools and now watching her children walk those same halls, Jessica knows firsthand what’s at stake — and is dedicated to ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Community service runs deep in her family, instilling a commitment to giving back and strengthening connections. She is an active member of First Church of God, where faith and service guide her approach to leadership. Known for her integrity and communication, Jessica believes strong schools are built on trust, collaboration, and open dialogue.
Jessica’s approach is simple: listen first, work hard, and always put the kids and the community of St. James first. If elected, she aims to bring a practical, thoughtful perspective to the board, ensuring decisions reflect the needs of students while fostering strong partnerships between families, educators, and the community. Her vision includes supporting teachers, promoting student opportunities, and making sure resources are used wisely as the district grows alongside St. James.
With a deep connection to her hometown and a dedication to service, Roy is committed to helping St. James schools thrive today and into the future.
