Good Friday morning. The temperature here in Sligo is 52 degrees. It says there is going to be rainy days ahead. We could use some more rain but hope it doesn't freeze or snow. I am not ready for that.

Sligo has had some bad news this past week. Sara Hutson passed away and we had her funeral Thursday. She has been sick just about all her life and Kathy and Ron have been by her side all the time. She was such a wonderful person and lived longer than people thought she would, thanks to Kathy and Ron taking care of her. Please keep them in your prayers. Also, another neighbor and dear friend passed two days after Sara, Frank Rauhe. Please keep Pam in your prayers.

Well deer season is here now starting Saturday, and we will have a house full of hunters. I am not looking forward to it.

Between doctor appointments and funerals, it has been a busy crazy week. Thanksgiving is upon us now and we will have some of our kids here the Saturday afterwards. They will have Thanksgiving with their kids Thanksgiving Day and then whoever can make it will come here that Saturday.

Sligo Family Night is the November 21 and that will be Thanksgiving for the community. We always invite the deer hunters for a good meal. Everyone is invited to that also.

God bless America and remember our troops and their families. Please continue to pray for our country and leaders.
