This has been a very relaxing week for us after all the running last week. Mel is doing better and hasn't had any spells lately. Hopefully he won't have anymore. We didn't make it to Bible study this week.

Mike has been down all week doing the chores, so Mel won't have to go outside. He is supposed to take it easy for a while. He does go out and take care of the chickens. He doesn't stay out very long because of the cold. We had another calf, and he went out with Mike to check on it and to feed range cubes to the cows.

I talked to Pam, and she is doing good, just trying to get things sorted out. Ron was at church Sunday and said Kathy is doing okay just trying to get things done around the house. Please keep them in your prayers.

So far, the only ones that got a deer is Dale. Some of the others will be back to black powder hunt. Maybe they will have some luck.

Our community Christmas dinner will be Dec. 19 and then the church will have a program afterwards. Come if you can. We always have a lot of good food.

God bless America and remember our troops and their families. Please continue to pray for our country and our leaders.
