Wow, it looks like winter is here. They are calling for snow, and I sure hope it bypasses us. It sure is rough on the people that has to go to work.
Mel is doing a lot better now He was finally able to remove the glue from his forehead. The scar isn't
bad. The worst part is the tooth that he broke when he fell. He went to the dentist and they did ex-rays and the tooth was broken in half. He has to go back Jan. 27 and they have to extract the rest of the tooth out. He will have to try and get another tooth put in. Mike teased him and said he found the rock he fell on and it was broke in half.
Mike is still down here taking care of the cattle, so Mel doesn't have to go out. We have a lot of card games, and the guys gain up on me. I beat them sometimes and they say I cheat. Mel tries to discard two cards at a time and I catch him. He says they stick together.
The community is all doing well. I haven't heard of anyone being sick. We may not have church Sunday, Jan. 25 if it snows like they say it's going to.
God bless America and remember our troops and their families. Please continue to pray for our country and leaders.
