Sligo wasn't able to have church last Sunday because of the snow. We don't know for sure if we will have it this Sunday because of the back roads and the church parking lot not being cleared.
Mel has been a little under the weather for about two weeks. He fell in the barn lot and had a gash on his head and broke a tooth where he fell on the rocks. Mike said he found the rock that he landed on. I took him to the hospital, and they did a CAT scan but didn't find any fracture or concussion. They couldn't sew him up, so they glued him back together. He kept complaining about a tooth so we went to the dentist, and he had broken one and they had to pull it so now we have to see about getting one to replace it. It seems like there is always something going wrong.
Mike is down here doing all the chores. Thank the Lord for him.
The community is doing pretty well. People are staying in out of the snow.
I took Mel to the dentist Tuesday and the main roads were pretty clear. I don't like driving in the snow but didn't have any problems since I have four-wheel drive now. We check on the neighbors to see if they need anything when we go in.
God bless America and remember our troops and their families. Please continue to pray for our country and leaders.
