Good morning, it is a beautiful day, but the wind is really blowing hard outside. We might get some rain or snow by Sunday. Sure, hope not.
Mel is weaning some calves, and we would like for the weather to stay nice for a while.
Mel and I are finally getting over the RSV. It sure was not a good thing to have. We went today and got B12 shots to try and get some energy. The doctor wants us to have them once a month to see if they will help us get more energy. We sure hope so.
Mike is still down here helping with the cattle. Mel is able to do the chickens but just doesn't have the strength to feed the cattle.
We were supposed to have family night Feb. 20 but it was cancelled because of sickness. The next family night will be March 20.
There will be no Sligo Fest this year. We don't have enough help to do it. We have to start getting the supplies in January and no one has the time to get everything we need for it. Then we don't have the help to cook everything. We will sure miss seeing everyone it was always a great day and a lot of fun.
The community is doing great. There hasn't been anyone sick except for Mel and I.
