The St. James Ace Hardware store, located at 901 N. Jefferson St. celebrated its grand opening this weekend. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held outside the store on Friday.
“It’s been super welcoming being here,” store manager Meagan Conn said. “We’re trying to, you know, do some justice to the community.”
Conn said the store tries to offer a little bit of everything, including free assembly, paint mixing, key cutting and more.
The store is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.
“We’ve had nothing but friendly people in,” Conn said.
