In a night that could only happen in St. James, guests gathered at the breathtaking Maramec Spring Park for an unforgettable evening celebrating the region’s finest chefs, winemakers, and cigar experts.
The sold-out event transformed the park’s riverside pavilion into a fairy-tale setting — twinkle lights shimmered in the trees and along the water’s edge, while mums, flowers, and greenery from Blooms & Barrels adorned the space. Wine barrels became rustic bar tops serving appetizers from Colton’s Steakhouse, & candles flickered on cream linens from Sybill's, and the sound of the rippling river blended perfectly with live music from A Touch of Jazz.
Each course highlighted the creativity and craftsmanship of local talent:
• D&L Farms served their award winning hickory smoked brat paired with Public House Exclusive IPA
• Public House Brewing Company featured smoked trout dip with crostini & 38 Degrees North
Sybill’s St. James delighted guests with bacon-wrapped maple dijon scallops paired with Eagles Landing Firebird 2022
• Spencer Manor Winery presented the meriguez meatball with Governor’s Cup 2023 Norton
• Country Bob’s Café closed the evening with their five-layer pumpkin cheesecake paired with Prairie Barn Winery’s Winstead White
Each pairing was complemented by hand-selected cigars from Leatherwood Handmade Cigars, featured from the Honduras and Nicaragua region.
Guests mingled under twinkling lights and around the bonfire, savoring the flavors, music, and fellowship that make St. James so special. With only 50 tickets available, this exclusive event sold out quickly — a testament to the pride and passion of the community’s culinary and winemaking scene.
The evening was a shining example of collaboration and craftsmanship — a celebration of the hardworking businesses and talented individuals that make St. James a destination unlike any other.
