A two-vehicle collision at 1:20 p.m. on July 24 near County Road 8240 and Highway Y, sent a female, 46, of St. James, to the hospital with moderate injuries, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop I crash report.
The crash occurred with the 2010 Ford Focus operated by a 17-year-old male of Rolla, was traveling in the westbound lane when it crossed into the eastbound lane and struck the 2010 Toyota Corolla. The operator of the Ford Focus was wearing a safety device, while the driver of the Toyota Corolla was not.
The woman was transported to Phelps Health by Phelps Health Ambulance.
The vehicles received total damage and were removed from the scene by Tune’s Towing.
