Terry Ray Sanders of Rolla, Missouri was born on Dec. 8, 1966 in Rolla, Missouri to Gary Gordon Sanders and Claudia Kay (Plake) Sanders and passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at the age of 59 years.
He had a deep love for playing guitar. When he wasn’t playing, you could usually find him outside doing what he loved most—hunting or fishing. Whether he was chasing deer, bear, or turkey, or simply enjoying time in the woods or on the water, the outdoors was where he felt most at home.
Terry also had a special love for his animals and enjoyed spending time with his dogs, Luna and Duke, and his cats.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Garmal and Florence Sanders and Benjamin and Ethel Plake.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Kay Sanders of Rolla, Missouri; children, Andrew Black and wife Kelly of St. James, Missouri, Stephen Sanders and wife Michelle of Rolla, Missouri, Christopher Sanders and wife Erin of Troy, Missouri and Aly Harmount and husband Jullyan of Rolla, Missouri; sister, Wendy Bullock and husband Travis of Villa Ridge, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Anthony, Zakk, Myla, Carter, Sonny, Riley and Amaya; mother of his children, Julie Sanders of Rolla, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla, Missouri.
Interment followed at Pea Ridge Cemetery in Doolittle, Missouri.
