After receiving another amazing show of support from the community and the Cuba Fest team in 2024, the Battle of the Bands & Boots are back for year three.

This year the 64 member Cuba High School Marching Wildcat Band and Drill Team will be looking for their first victory over the 46 members of alumni. Will the alumni, representing 27 graduating classes from 1981-2025, remain undefeated? To find out bring your friends, family and lawn chairs and join the fun Sunday, October 19 at 2 p.m. at Cuba Fest. The format will be the same with each band playing a set, then ‘battle’ with specific songs and finishing the performance together.

To cast your vote, you can purchase tickets or receive a ticket for every dollar spent on merchandise at the Band Booster tent. Simply drop your tickets in the container labeled for your favorite band and drill team. Tickets and merchandise can be purchased throughout the day on Sunday at the Band Booster tent. You can buy single tickets for $1, 6 for $5, 12 for $10, or 25 for $20. These ticket prices are good for the day of the event only. If you are unable to attend the performance this year, but still want to cast your vote, you will have an opportunity to purchase tickets for $1/each (cash only) at the Wildcat football game on Friday, Oct. 17. Battle of the Bands & Boots is a rain or shine event. If the weather does not cooperate on Sunday, the music and fun will move to the Cuba High School gym.

Proceeds from Battle of the Bands and Boots help fund the Cuba Band Program with expenses that exceed the band’s budget.

On behalf of the Battle of the Bands & Boots organizers, Cuba Mo Band Boosters, and the Cuba Band Program, thank you all for the tremendous outpouring of support the past two years. It is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to continuing this great tradition.
