The St. James High track squad ended its regular season by hosting the St. James Invitational and competing in the Four Rivers Conference Meet last week.
The Tigers hosted the St. James Invitational Wednesday, April 29 at the St. James Track. The meet had been slated for Monday, April 27 but was backed up two days due to the weather.
And St. James was part of the Four Rivers Conference Meet Friday, May 1 at New Haven.
In the conference meet the Lady Tigers finished sixth in the team standings while the STJ boys were eighth. Union won the girls’ team FRC title with 176 points while Pacific was second with 142. St. James was sixth with 62. St. Clair was the boys’ team champion with 155 points while Owensville was second with 142.5. St. James was eighth with 41.
St. James won one event in the boys’ meet, with Austin Bell winning the triple jump at 40-2 3/4.
The Lady Tigers won three relays - the 4x100 with Madalynn McCracken, Avery Campbell, Alex Hughes and Adalee Richardson at :51.66; the 4x200 with McCracken, Anslee Stubblefield, Campbell and Richardson at 1:50.54, and the 4x400 with McCracken, Campbell, Stubblefield and Hughes at 4:20.83.
This week St. James begins its post-season run, competing in the Missouri Class 3 District 5 Meet Saturday, May 9 at Cuba High School.

St. James Invitational
Host St. James finished second in the boys’ meet and was fifth in the girls’ event.
For the Tiger boys, event winners were Aiden Boone in the long jump at 19-6 3/4 and the triple jump at 42-4; Kylar Hodge in the 1,600-meter run at 4:54.00; Ashton Moreland in the 3,200-meter run at 10:41.57; the 4x100-meter relay squad of Westin Ridenhour, Austin Bell, Boone and Whitten Woessner at :45.72, and the 4x100-meter throwers relay squad of Mitchell Dekock, Blake Moore, Zane Achterberg and Preston Hash at :53.75.
The Lady Tigers won two events - the 4x100-meter squad of McCracken, Campbell, Hughes and Richardson at :52.20 and the 4x200-meter relay squad of McCracken, Hughes, Campbell and Richardson at 1:52.31.
