Tommy Wayne Singleton of Mehlville, Missouri was born Dec. 9, 1966 in St. Louis, Missouri to Ollie Louise “Lou” Singleton and passed away Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025 at the age 58 years, 11 months and 25 days.
Tommy loved to spend time playing basketball, dancing the duck dance and watching wrestling. One of his favorite drinks was having a “real” Dr. Pepper.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lou Singleton; aunts, Ina (Pete) Viviano, Gloria Johnson and Kathryn Clark; and uncle, Jesse Singleton.
He is survived by his aunts, Joyce Gilpin, Lee (Joe) Finch and Cheryl (Tom) Winter; uncle, Willis (Heather) Singleton; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating. Special music of “I’ll Fly Away” and “When We All Get to Heaven” was played. Memories were shared by family members Leo Arnold and Stephanie Arnold who shared the words written by Joyce Gilpin.
Committal prayer and interment were in the Steelville Cemetery in Steelville, Missouri.
Honored to be casket bearers were Nathan Singleton, Joshua Singleton, Alex Singleton, Brian Johnson and Leo Arnold.
