Linda Jo Tannini of Licking, Missouri as born Nov. 19, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away Jan. 23, 2026 at the age of 69 years.
She worked in retail throughout her life–from supervisor of a 7-facility food court in Germany, to cake decorating master at Baskin Robbin’s, to a department manager at JC Penney's for many years.
She was first married to Robert (Bob) Engle. During their marriage, she helped raise his three children.
She later married Edmond (Ed) Tannini. During this marriage, she helped raise his two children.
As a proud military spouse, she moved frequently in support of his service and was deeply involved in military family and spouses’ organizations wherever they were stationed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Faun and Verna Jackson; first husband, Robert Engle; brother, Michael K. Jackson; sister, Peggy and brother-in-law Bill Payne; and honorary sister, Patricia (Patty) Payne.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Engle-Walton; daughter-in-law, Amber; grandchildren, Cole Aguirre and Abigail Robinson (Nathan); great grandchild, Colten; siblings, Sherry Jackson-Davis, Bill (Joan) Jackson, Larry Jackson and Faun (Toodie) Jackson; other relatives and friends.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
