Serving as mayor of Cuba has been one of my greatest honors of my life. Each day I strive to lead with steady judgment and a clear focus on what is best for our city and residents.
If re-elected, I will continue prioritizing investments in our infrastructure with a strong emphasis on curb and guttering sidewalks and roads. These improvements support drainage, safer streets and stronger neighborhoods. They also enhance the appearance of our community and help increase property values.
We have maintained essential services while supporting a dedicated work force. I want to sincerely thank our city employees for the work they do each day. I am grateful to our residents for their continued support and pride in Cuba. Cuba is a great place for people and pets. Our animal control program helps keep our pets safe and works to find homes for the animals that have been forgotten, abused or abandoned.
Looking ahead to the proposed McBride development bringing approximately 500 homes presents an opportunity to strengthen our tax base, attract new businesses and help address our declining school population by bringing in more families into our community.
I remain committed to transparency, accountability and doing what is right for our community. I welcome questions anytime and will be available at the VFW Hall on April 3-4 during the citywide yard sale.
I respectfully ask for your vote so we can continue building a Cuba we are all proud to call home.

With a lifetime of service to country and community, I am honored to have the opportunity to lead Cuba going forward. My wife Paula and I have been married for 42 years and have two children and eleven grandchildren. They motivate me to work toward a stronger future for our community.
I served in the Air Force, retiring in 2002. My military background instilled a deep commitment to service before self and accountability. Following my military career, I owned and operated several small businesses. This gave me firsthand experience with the challenges and opportunities local businesses face.
While working full time and supporting my family, I studied at Colorado Christian University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
I am a Christian, Republican, with conservative values, but I am not driven by party politics. As Mayor I will represent everyone with dignity and respect. We may have disagreements, that’s okay. It’s not about who is right, it’s about doing what is right. I plan to focus on hiring a Public Works Director, maintaining, and renewing city infrastructure, and placing an emphasis on transparency because good government starts with accountability and being fiscally responsible. I believe in governing for the people, not governing over them.
With decades of service, leadership, and experience, I am ready to help guide the city forward as your Mayor.
