Valerie Ann Kroeck of Cuba, Missouri was born on August 30, 1953 in Manistee, Michigan to Richard and Marlene (Frederickson) Abramczyk and passed away on Dec. 17, 2025 at the age of 72 years.
She was a registered nurse and worked at Cuba Manor and later at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan.
She enjoyed time on her deck at Indian Hills, solving jigsaw puzzles and bowling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Patti Ann Neracher.
She is survived by three children, Noel (Amy) Hendrix of Cuba, Missouri, Erin Davis of Scottville, Michigan and Cassie (Cristopher) Wilmouth of Ashburn, Virginia; siblings, Carol Benforado, Doug Smith, Pam Jewett, Lona Goodrich and Rick Abramczyk; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Memorial gathering will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026 at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba, Missouri.
Celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026 at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Todd Holman as the officiant.
