Steelville City Council meeting on Nov. 3 had a request from a local business owner to update its systems to accommodate out-of-state buyers.
Lynda Wynn of Wynn Realty, a real estate agency, spoke to the council to address occupancy inspections and the process involved.
Wynn encouraged the council members to consider a more updated and expedient process that is also online or conducted via email. One that is both beneficial to the city and to potential home buyers.
“Change will never happen unless somebody says you have to do this,” Wynn said.
From her standpoint, Wynn wanted to urge the council to make the process easier for her clients.
No decision was made to update the process.
