Alice Mae Crow of Sullivan, Missouri was born on March 27, 1937 in Sullivan, Missouri to Frank and Elizabeth (Nye) Schmidt and passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026 at the age of 89 years.
She grew up and attended school in Sullivan and graduated in 1955.
On February 16, 1957, Alice married Robert “Dean” Crow.
She worked briefly at the Ramsey Corporation early in life.
She was a gifted cook and baker, her pies just kept getting better. She was especially helpful to Dean on the farm and was never afraid to lend a hand, even with the cattle.
She loved spending time with Dean on the river in their boat, taking rides through the park looking for eagles and other wildlife, planting flowers of all kinds, watching the birds they would feed and she enjoyed visiting bakeries.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Crow; parents, Frank and Elizabeth Schmidt; two brothers, Edwin Schmidt and Charles Schmidt; three sisters, Marion Collins, Agnes Schmidt and Helen DiMaggio; and parents-in-law, Fred and Hilda Crow.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Russom and husband Steve of Sullivan, Missouri and Dena Souders and husband Rick of Cuba, Missouri; three grandsons, Jason Russom and wife Sharon of Sullivan, Missouri, Allen Isgrigg and Dean Isgrigg both of Gerald, Missouri; sister, Carol Binsbacher of Sullivan, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Private family services were held. Cremation took place following services.
