Registration for Bourbon High School students for the upcoming school year is quickly approaching as summer flies by.

Bourbon High School announced its registration dates and time via a Facebook post on July 7, and gave information regarding its Freshman Warhawk Day for its incoming freshman. Parents are encouraged to fill out open enrollment forms online before students come to registration day. Computers will be available to help anyone needing to complete open enrollment at the school.

Registration for seniors will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, at the High School. Juniors can register from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, and sophomore registration will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20.

Freshmen Warhawk day is set for Friday, Aug. 21, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the High School. Warhawk Day includes a student and parent meeting with Bourbon High School principal Cassandra Haar, a schedule for pick up, a mock walk through with teachers in classrooms, a scavenger hunt along with paperwork and a chromebook pick up.

The post noted that class dues are $10 for the year. Students will pay $40 in total throughout their four years at Bourbon, which help cover events like prom and homecoming.

Parking permits for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders are free, and can be obtained during registration.

Registration for 10th through 12th graders will be done open house style, and you can sign up anytime during the allocated hours.
