Deborah “Debbie” Louise (Wallace) Gray was born on March 19, 1952 in Rolla, Missouri to William and Rowena Wallace and passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the age of 73 years.

She married Arthur “Duane” Gray on December 20, 1969.

In 1973, Debbie became the Children’s Church Pastor at First Assembly of God in St. James, Missouri. During the summer she served at Southern Missouri Kids Camp.

Debbie and Duane owned and operated The Lord’s Library, a Christian bookstore, in Rolla, Missouri.

Debbie enjoyed vacations to Branson and Gatlinburg. She also loved collecting treasures, most notably gingerbread men, Garfield memorabilia and antiques.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Arthur “Duane” Gray; parents, William and Rowena Wallace; and brother, David Wallace.

She is survived by her sons, Anthony “Tony” Gray and wife Erin of St. James, Missouri and Christopher “Chris” Gray and wife Angie of Sedalia, Missouri; grandchildren, Todd Gray and wife Keely, Dillon Gray, Chandler Gray and wife Peyton, Lauren Ferris and husband Cooper, Bekah Pennock and husband Christian, Bailey Bassett and husband Jaedon, Addi Engelage, Chloe Engelage and Elliot Gray; other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Celebration of Life service was held on at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
