Mary Ann Splittorff of Bourbon, Missouri was born on February 26, 1957 in Sullivan, Missouri to Robert and Joanna (Jinkerson) LaChance and passed away Sunday, July 5, 2026 at the age of 69 years.

Mary Ann grew up in Sullivan and graduated from Sullivan High School with the class of 1975.

On February 20, 1994, she married William Splittorff.

She was employed at various factories in the Washington area. Her last employment was with Rita at Petals and Plants, where she delivered flowers.

She was a member of both the Sullivan Fraternal Order of Eagles #3781 and the Sullivan VFW Russell Schmidt Post #3987.

She was known by many as the “Farkle Queen,” and she was always ready for a game.

For the past 12 years of her life she shared a special bond with her dog Bob.

In her younger days, Mary Ann enjoyed spending time at the cabin on the river in Stanton. More recently, she spent with her sisters and their families and friends at Woodland Lakes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Joanna LaChance; husband, William Splittorff; and two sisters, Rita Moon and Linda Gann.

She is survived by her nephew, Rob Harmon and wife Kaycee of Casper, Wyoming; three nieces, Donna LaPorte of Sullivan, Missouri, Jodi Cloninger and husband Kevin of Chesterfield, Missouri and Lauren Gann and wife Mary of St. Louis, Missouri; other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life was held from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at the Sullivan VFW Post 3987. Cremation services have taken place.
