Oscar “Buck” E. Beesley Jr. of Bland, Missouri was born on July 22, 1953 in Owensville, Missouri to Oscar E. Beesley and Berniece (Fleischman) Beesley and passed away July 5, 2026 at the age of 72 years.
Buck was a lifelong area resident and a member of the Koenig Country Church.
On August 29, 2019, he married Mary Moreland.
Buck worked at Kingsford when he was younger as well as Beaufort Transfer. He retired from Jahabow Industries in Owensville after being employed for many years.
He enjoyed watching westerns and Counting Cars on TV and going to car shows. He loved his trucks and making model cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Brook Buchholz; and nephew, Frankie McClure.
He is survived by wife, Mary; two sisters, Connie Heyer of St. James, Missouri and Pam McClure and husband Jim of Belle, Missouri; five nieces and nephews, Jimmy McClure and wife Tinya, Lana Buchholz and husband Mike, Paula McClure, Roy Heyer Jr. and wife Tracy and Wesley Heyer and fiancé Mary; six great nieces and nephews, Dyllan McClure, Taylor McClure, Brock Buchholz, Natalie Heyer, Noah Heyer and Drew Heyer; other relatives and friends.
Celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements under the direction of Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle, Missouri.
