Richard Leon Duncan of Owensville, Missouri was born July 12, 1936 in Owensville, Missouri to John LaVerne and Thelma Mabel (Jett) Duncan and passed away Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025 at the age of 89 years.
He married Joyce Nadean Branson on Sept. 7, 1957 in Owensville, Missouri.
Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and playing the stock market.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Thelma; wife, Joyce; siblings, Delores Seba, Carol Fischer and Mary Jane Durbin; and granddaughter, Cynthia Duncan.
He is survived by his children, Curtis Duncan of Gasconade, Vickie Schoening and Steve Duncan both of Owensville, Missouri; siblings, Glen Duncan and wife Joyce, Larry Duncan and wife Margaret and Donna Jones and husband Craig all of Owensville, Missouri; three grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
His body was cremated and his cremains will be interred in Countryside Memorial Gardens in Owensville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
