Sherrie Lynn Johnson of St. James, Missouri was born on November 17, 1956 in Rolla, Missouri to William Wright Copeland and Beatrice E. Copeland and passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at the age of 68 years.
In 1976, she married Curtis Johnson.
Sherrie was a lover of music and enjoyed singing and playing piano. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, taking walks, swimming and animals.
She accepted Christ into her heart and was baptized early in her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Keith Copeland, John Copeland and Bob Copeland; two sisters, Dolly Copeland and Sandra Copeland Wolf; one sister-in-law, Barbara Copeland; and one nephew, Jared Copeland.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis Johnson of St. James, Missouri; son, Angelo Johnson; three daughters, Constance Johnson of Rolla, Missouri, Stephanie Stump and husband Brent of St. James, Missouri and Tiffany Johnson of Rolla, Missouri; three brothers, Lee Copeland and wife Carol of California, Ron Copeland and wife Barb of St. James, Missouri and Bill Copeland and wife Diane of St. James, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Paula Brown of Salem, Missouri and Terri Copeland of St. James, Missouri; six grandchildren, Alexandria, Trystin, Aryanna, Rosie, Mia and Emmi-Cay; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla, Missouri.
Interment followed in the Wishon Cemetery.
