Sherry Lynne (nee Roberts) Edwards of Steelville, Missouri was born on Sunday, February 7, 1960 in New Mexico to Harold Edward Roberts and Mandy Berniece (nee Bryant) Roberts and passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at the age of 65 years, 7 months and 24 days.
Sherry graduated from Viburnum High School in the Class of 1979. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and flowers of all kinds. She adored animals, especially her cat, Stinky, and dog, Tinker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Berniece Roberts; husband, Gene Edwards; and son, Ronald James Eugene “RJ” Godbey.
She is survived by her son, Justin Godbey of Steelville, Missouri; brothers, Gene Roberts of Steelville, Missouri and Ron “Bink” and wife Mary Roberts of Florida; other relatives and friends.
The family chose cremation as Sherry’s final disposition and will have a private inurnment at Cherryville Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
