Tamara J. "Tammy" Hendrix of St. James, Missouri was born on Aug. 28, 1961 in Sullivan, Missouri and passed away on May 8, 2026 at the age of 64 years.
She married Paul Hendrix on Aug. 21, 2016 in Steelville, Missouri.
She worked at Brown Shoe Company until its closure, became a respiratory therapist and later worked at Paramount.
She enjoyed nature walks, spending time by the river, collecting frogs and caring for her three dogs, Little Bit, Bella and Jet.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Sally (Pitts) Hoyer; daughter, Dana Lenderman; and sister, Cynthia Mouser.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Hendrix of St. James, Missouri; three children, Bryn Lenderman of St. James, Missouri, Monica Hendrix of St. Louis, Missouri and Paula Hendrix of Cuba, Missouri; grandchildren, Haley Whitman, Noah Lenderman, Summer Swyers, Bella Lenderman, Abel Lenderman, Liam Stahl, Lincoln Stahl and Alijah Hutcheson; other relatives and friends.
In accordance with her wishes, Tammy was cremated, with inurnment taking place at Kinder Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri.
